Privacy Policy

Privacy first: Cadence is built so that we never see your data. There are no accounts, no servers of ours, no analytics, and no ads. Practices, sessions, sets, timings, and selected media stay on your device.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Personal information

We collect no personal information. Cadence requires no account, email, or identifier of any kind. You can use the app completely anonymously.

1.2 Training data

Everything you log is stored locally on your device: your sessions, sets, reps, work and rest timings, Practice definitions and target revisions, schedules, exclusions, and notes. Cadence does not send this data to us. It leaves the app only when you explicitly choose an iOS export destination or sharing action.

1.3 Analytics

We collect no analytics or usage data. Cadence contains no third-party analytics SDKs, tracking, or telemetry. There is no advertising.

2. Photos and videos

You can attach a progress photo, or a progress video with Cadence Pro, to a session. Cadence uses Apple's system Photos picker, which gives the app access only to the item you explicitly select. Cadence does not request blanket access to your photo library or access to your camera. Imported media is stored in the app's local storage and is never uploaded to us.

3. Exports

JSON and CSV workout-data exports are created on your device and shared only to the destination you choose in iOS. They contain Practice, session, set, timing, note, and media metadata. They do not contain the actual photo or video files.

4. Live Activity and Shortcuts

If you start a timed session, Cadence can show its current phase and progress in a Live Activity on your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. Siri and Shortcuts can prepare a Cadence session when you invoke their app actions. These features are handled on your device; Cadence does not send your workout data to a Studio AM server.

5. Cloud sync

Cadence does not provide account-based or iCloud sync in this version. Your local Cadence data does not automatically appear on another device.

6. Purchases

Cadence Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The purchase is validated on-device using Apple's StoreKit. There is no third-party purchase server, and we never see your name, email, or payment details.

7. Children's privacy

Cadence is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date revised before the change ships.
